We're a week in to 2018 (a year that I plan on conquering), and we're still hanging onto the 2017 trends. If you're as observant and in tune with fashion as I am, then be on the lookout for these shoe trends this year, whether we like them or not ;)
I love a shoe that makes an impact, since I always only wear neutrals. It's only right that bold colors will lead the way this year. I'm talking hues like bright reds, pinks, yellows, and oranges. Just in time for the warm weather! (That is, if mother nature chooses to make it warm anytime soon...)
You thought we'd leave plastics last year? Guess again. From thigh-highs to sandals, designers cannot seem to put it out. I think I might join in on the fantastic plastic trend this year. I may draw the line with clear sneakers though. Just can't see the point.
Speaking of sneakers (or kicks, your choice), they're taking a major trip into the unknown. I seriously wonder if this has anything to do with our current missile crisis... *insert thinking emoji here.* I will now plead the fifth on this trend.
I live in Houston, and cowboy boots are all over the place, but why Givenchy wants to refresh them is beyond me. I will now wait for my fellow fashion enthusiasts to "cop." (Major eye roll)
I'm so glad we're keep this one since they've grown on me! They went strong last year, and I'm sure they will only get cuter and more stylish this year!
Do I need to say much? Plaid was all over the F/W 2017 runways, and will continue to make their mark this year. I think they will lighten up during Spring and Summer.
You may want to try some of these, you may not want to. Just because these shoes might be seen everywhere, doesn't mean you need to get rid of what you already have. Fashion rotates, so keep your treasures!
